Assist project teams in implementing project contols processes on their projects in accordance with corporate standards. Monitor the use of project controls at the division level of the company and report non-compliance with standards.
More specifically:
1) Monitors projects for deviations from corporate planning and scheduling policy and report same to management.
2) Assists project teams with the development of project schedules for proposals, presentations and projects using Primavera P3e.
3) Develops project controls variance reports that highlight conformance or non-comformance with standard project control expectations.
4) Audits project progress and reports inconsistencies with project progress reporting processes and reality.
5) Trains project management resources in the use of project control tools and techniques and develops competency assessments for these resources in the project controls area.
6) Creates standard methods for generating required report sets for project teams both in scheduling, productivity and cost software systems.
Candidates must be able to walk around outdoor jobsites with distances up to 1/2 mile, climb ladders and stairs to access platforms and scaffolds, and walk on elevated platforms and landings.
Required Experience:
2+ yrs experience in developing resource loaded project schedules. Strong computer skills with spreadsheet and database software. P3e v5 experience is desired.
Required Education:
BS Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
