Implement progress measurement, cost tracking, and planning and scheduling to accurately support construction execution. Coordinate and participate in collaborative work sequence planning and construction issue resolution.

More specifically:

1) Initiates and coordinates development of detailed construction plans with general foremen and foremen.

2) Monitors field construction; appraises compliance with construction plans; investigates causes of deviations.

3) Processes project scope and quantities; posts needs in earned value software system.

4) Reviews construction drawings; assesses scope and identify revisions and additions.

5) Participates in construction work sequence planning with project team; recommends work sequence improvements and adjustments.

6) Records and analyzes field construction progress; review and issue weekly progress reports.

7) Administers Request for Information process to resolve engineering issues and constraints by communication with design engineers, owner representatives and construction team members.

8) Trains Project Engineers I and II along with other management staff; prepares labor and cost estimates for construction work packages; assures effective document control system; maintains project records.


Required Experience:
Two to five years in project management with responsibility for assisting in controlling project outcomes. Good communications skills required. Demonstrated ability to effectively assist with managing projects. Able to handle multiple tasks, primarily through planning and resources available to them.


Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in Construction Engineering or Management or a related field.
